Child Safety Standards

ecnow is the everyonesconnected social network. We do not tolerate child sexual abuse, child sexual exploitation, or any content or behavior that endangers minors.

Zero tolerance standard

everyonesconnected prohibits CSAE and CSAM across ecnow, including posts, Shouts, messages, profiles, usernames, captions, comments, and uploaded media. The following are not allowed:

  • Child sexual abuse material, also known as CSAM.
  • Child sexual abuse and exploitation, also known as CSAE.
  • Grooming, sextortion, trafficking, solicitation, or attempts to exploit a minor.
  • Content, messages, profiles, or behavior that sexualizes children or places them at risk.
  • Requests to create, share, trade, or view exploitative content involving minors.

Reporting in the app

ecnow provides in-app tools for users to report posts and concerning behavior. Users can open the options menu on content or profiles, choose Report, and select a reason. Users can also block accounts. Reports are routed to the team for review and enforcement.

Review and enforcement

When we become aware of content or conduct that may involve CSAE or CSAM, we take action based on severity, available evidence, and applicable law.

  • Remove reported or detected content that violates these standards.
  • Suspend or remove accounts that attempt to exploit, harm, or endanger minors.
  • Preserve relevant safety records when needed for legal compliance and enforcement.
  • Report confirmed CSAM to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children or the appropriate regional authority.
  • Cooperate with lawful requests from law enforcement and child protection authorities.

Legal compliance

everyonesconnected complies with applicable child safety laws and regulations. We maintain a process for escalating child safety concerns, reviewing reports, taking enforcement action, and reporting confirmed CSAM to NCMEC or the relevant regional authority.
